How to be a Great Father to teenage kids?
Seldom it becomes hard to get along with children when your little ones move into the teenage stage, so here are some tips that might help you to bond with your kids more.
Understand the generation gap
To be a good father, you need to understand the generation gap between you and your kid. Telling them now and then about the struggles you went through to have the facilities that they already have would not help your kid realizing the importance of these things. You have to accept the fact that time changes everything and everyone has their struggles. Your struggles are different from that of your child.
Be available for them
When your child says they need you or want to talk with you, try to be there for them. I understand parents have jobs and have to deal with so much but try to take some time out from your busy schedule to spend it with them.
Be your kid's Role model
To be a good father you must be a good husband. Your kids look after you, learn from you, so when you treat your partner good it leaves a good impression on your kid. Try not to use any foul language when your kid is around you. Though try not to use even when they are not around:)
Give them comfort
You must provide that comfort to your child that they can share everything with you without any fear. If you want to guide your kid and help them, they must share everything with you so that they can lead a better life.
Acknowledge their small wins
Being appreciated by the father over small achievements helps the kid to build their self-confidence.
Trust your kid
To build a connection with your child you must trust them. Give them privacy and believe in them when they confront you about something. There might be a situation when your kids broke that trust, try not to lose any calm and confront about the things you felt bad about. Make them realize the repercussions of breaking someone's trust. Also, forgive your child when they realize their mistakes.
Show Love and care

For some fathers, it is difficult to show their emotions. It is really important that your kids know about the intensity of love and care you have for them.
This is really very informative .
